Quite Ethnic

Quite Ethnic is a new upcoming young British Label soon to be launched, with the creative mind of Nasreen Raja.  The preview collection consists of hand drawn designs by Nasreen as well as unique one of embroidery pieces soon to be revealed exclusively at the Smoky not Smudgy fashion show.  Quite Ethnic is a young and contemporary clothing Label with an ethnic twist.  Inspirations is taken from Nasreen’s Pakistani heritage and love for all things tribal.

Nasreen has graduated in BA HONS Textiles design from Chelsea college of Art and Design and specializes in Printed textiles.  She has previously shown her luxury printed silk niqaabs at the Smoky not Smudgy fashion show that explored ideas relating to faith and identity.  Nasreen’s work is inspired by her Pakistani background and childhood memories from Pakistan.  Nasreen currently works as a freelance textile designer in the UK, working with printed fabrics, luxury silks and dyeing along side illustrative designs and mixed media techniques.

Nasreen’s work was showcased earlier this year at Oitijo exhibiton and the Southbank centres Alchemy Fashion show, along side other young and upcoming British designers.
